The aftermath of ‘DORIS’
Storm Doris Hit Epping Hard
Epping took a huge hit when Storm Doris struck on 23rd February 2017. The image above shows a BMW that had a tree fall right on top of it. This was 1 of many trees that fell yesterday and caused traffic misery in the local area.

Pictures provided by James Brandon, a resident of Epping
James mentioned in an Email that he thought ‘the local services were on the ball and prevented dilemma, traffic in Epping is stupid most of the time so I hold my hat up to them,’ and ‘one tree fell at around 3pm and by 4.30pm the tree had gone and road was opened.
Later in the day the Stansted Express was affected by the weather and all trains were cancelled. Epping again was hit hard by this situation as transport companies like our self (Lawlor Cars) were left to transport hundreds of commuters towards Harlow, Bishops Stortford, Stansted and as far as Audley End Station.
